Station View

Station View is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care to up to 32 people. At the time of inspection, six people were living at the service. Residents and their relatives reported feeling safe and satisfied with the care provided, with staff demonstrating clear knowledge of how to keep people secure.

The home had addressed previous recommendations about medicines storage, implementing improved audits and record-keeping systems. Medicines were stored, managed, and administered safely, with effective documentation of people's medication needs. Infection prevention control practices were well established, with staff following current guidance and using appropriate personal protective equipment. The home maintained additional cleaning schedules for all areas and frequently touched surfaces, with staff regularly recording these activities. Training covered hand hygiene and other infection prevention measures.
