About Station Road

Station Road is a residential care home in Enfield offering accommodation and personal care for people with learning disabilities. Details of the most recent CQC inspection findings are set out below.

Station Road provides accommodation and personal care for up to 12 people with learning disabilities in a large detached house spread over three floors, including a self-contained flat. At the time of inspection, nine people were living at the service. The home supports people to live ordinary lives with choice, independence and inclusion.

People and relatives described staff as kind, friendly and dedicated, with good knowledge of people's needs. However, inspectors found that people were not always protected from avoidable harm, as staff did not consistently provide care according to people's individual care plans and risk assessments. The service had processes in place for people to raise concerns, and complaints were investigated and responded to.
