St George's Care Homes

St Georges provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 50 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 37 people were living at the home. The registered manager demonstrated clear leadership and led by example. Staff were caring and treated people with kindness and respect, with sufficient staffing levels to meet people's needs.

The home had systems in place to protect people from abuse, and residents reported feeling safe. Risk assessments were completed to identify and minimise risks, and infection control measures were safe. Incidents and accidents were managed safely, with managers taking necessary actions to prevent recurrence. One resident commented, "The care seems very good and they seem well staffed," while another said, "With the new manager it's really good."
