About St Francis Residential Care Home

St Francis Residential Care Home is a residential care home in Waltham Forest, providing personal care support to older people aged 65 and over. Further details on the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

St Francis provides residential care and personal care support to up to 39 people aged 65 and over. The home demonstrated strong infection prevention and control practices, including temperature checks and provision of personal protective equipment for staff and visitors. A specially designed outdoor pod with a glass screen and speaker system allowed relatives to visit safely, while those unable to visit in person were supported to maintain contact through video calls.

The premises were cleaned and disinfected frequently, with hygiene stations stocked with hand sanitiser and PPE positioned throughout the service to help reduce infection risks.
