St Cecilia's - Care Home with Nursing Physical Disabilities

St Cecilia's provides accommodation, personal care and nursing care for up to 30 people with complex physical disabilities. At inspection, 29 people were living at the service. The home was well maintained and clean, with a dedicated housekeeping team managing frequent robust cleaning schedules. Staff were appropriately trained on COVID-19, infection control and the use of PPE, and there were enough staff to meet people's needs. The service had implemented comprehensive infection control measures including visitor screening, a COVID-19 testing program, and risk assessments for those at higher risk. The registered manager reported good working relationships with the visiting GP, health care professionals, the Clinical Commissioning Group and Local Authority to ensure people received appropriate care and support. There were no restrictions on visiting at the service in line with current guidance.
