St Catherines View provides nursing and personal care for up to 56 people with dementia, with 49 residents at the time of inspection. Staff received safeguarding training and knew how to report concerns, while people and their relatives felt safe and reported being treated well. The provider maintained robust recruitment processes and managed medicines safely, with systems in place to prevent overuse of 'when required' medications.

Care plans were person-centred and used nationally recognised assessment tools. Effective infection prevention and control systems were in place, and the service demonstrated an open culture of learning when issues arose.
