St Anne's Community Services - Sutherland Court

Sutherland Court supports people with learning disabilities and autism, providing accommodation alongside nursing or personal care. Staff are moving away from overly restrictive practices, instead supporting residents to make choices and exercise control over their lives.

Care plans and personalised 'This is me' documents demonstrate a holistic approach that recognises individual strengths and preferences.

Medicines are managed safely, with staff honouring how each person prefers to receive their medication as documented in their care plans. The service maintains adequate staffing levels and staff are undertaking ongoing training to develop their skills in supporting residents' needs.
