Springfield Lodge

Springfield Lodge is a residential care home in one adapted building, providing accommodation and personal care for up to 15 people, all places occupied at the time of assessment. Inspectors found significant improvements had been made, and the home is no longer in Special Measures, moving from inadequate to an overall rating of good.

People and relatives spoke warmly of staff and management, feeling safe, well cared for and happy with meals and choices offered. Some issues remained: prescribed creams needed better management, and the provider had no manager registered with the CQC, though action was being taken to address this.
