Southport Rest Home Limited

Southport Rest Home Limited provides residential personal care for up to 25 people, primarily older adults including some with dementia. At the time of inspection, 19 people were using the service.

Inspectors found that risk assessments and care plans did not consistently reflect people's current care needs, requiring improvements in this area. Governance systems at both registered manager and provider level were insufficient and at times ineffective. The home needed to strengthen monitoring of environmental safety and care quality, as existing checks had failed to identify necessary improvements.
