Somerville House

Somerville House is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 18 people, with 17 residents at the time of inspection. The service supports people with dementia, mental health conditions and older people. Staff demonstrate clear understanding of safeguarding procedures and know how to report allegations and concerns of abuse.

Risk assessments are person-centred and provide sufficient guidance for staff practice. The provider has made improvements to fixtures, fittings and cleanliness standards since the previous inspection, with effective systems now in place to maintain good hygiene throughout the service.
