About Simon Marks Court

Simon Marks Court is a residential care home in Leeds, providing accommodation and support for older people, including some living with dementia. Further details on the service are set out in the CQC findings below.

Simon Marks Court is a residential care home for older people, some living with dementia, providing accommodation for up to 37 people. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding a well maintained home with a positive, welcoming atmosphere. Staff were kind and caring, food was enjoyed by residents, and medicines and care plans were managed safely and person centred.

Inspectors found staff recruitment, safeguarding practice and Mental Capacity Act procedures were all sound, and management had good oversight through quality assurance systems. Previous breaches around safe care and governance had been resolved. Some residents and relatives felt staffing levels occasionally affected waiting times for personal care, though most described staff as attentive and responsive.
