Selborne House

This care home accommodates up to 15 people with learning disabilities, some of whom also have mental health conditions and complex support needs. At the time of inspection, 11 people were living at the service.

The home had previously failed to manage risks effectively, with gaps in how incidents were assessed and addressed, leaving people exposed to ongoing harm. There were also concerns that decisions were made on behalf of residents without properly ensuring they were in the person's best interest in line with legal requirements.
