Saxon Close

Saxon Close provides residential care for up to six people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions. At the time of inspection, five people were living at the service. People appeared to feel safe and comfortable with staff, who had received training to recognise signs of abuse and felt confident reporting concerns. Risk assessments enabled residents to be as independent as possible while remaining safe, with staff skilled at balancing safety with people's rights and autonomy.

The home maintained sufficient staffing levels to meet people's needs safely, and effective recruitment processes ensured only suitable staff were employed. Staff demonstrated good knowledge of managing risks to promote both safety and independence for the people they supported.
