Rowland House

Rowland House accommodates up to seven people with complex physical needs, brain injury, and neurological conditions. At inspection, six people were using the service. Staff had received regular safeguarding training and the service was well-staffed, with people receiving medicines as needed. Risk assessments were in place to balance safety with promoting independence, though documentation around the use of bedrails required further exploration. Robust recruitment processes ensured staff suitability, and the premises were clean and well-maintained.

Prior to admission, people's needs were assessed to ensure effective care and support. Staff received appropriate training to meet individual needs, and people were supported with nutritional requirements and encouraged to maintain healthy diets. The registered manager worked with inspectors to address areas identified during the visit.
