Roslyn House

Roslyn House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 9 people, though only 2 were using the service at the time of inspection. Some residents have a learning disability or are autistic. The deputy manager and provider are working to support people to live as independently as possible while ensuring they are respected and treated with dignity by staff. Disrespectful language has been removed from care planning documentation, and all staff have been reminded of the importance of using respectful language when working with residents.

People are comfortable approaching staff for support and can withdraw their consent to planned care and monitoring tasks, with these decisions being respected by staff and managers. Staff have received guidance on protecting people from identified risks, including providing appropriate reminders on road safety for those who leave the service independently.
