Riseley House Care Home

Riseley House Care Home is a residential care home supporting adults of all ages living with dementia and physical disabilities, caring for 11 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC's rating has improved from inadequate to requires improvement, and the home is no longer in special measures. Inspectors found significant progress in safe care and treatment, though further work was needed on audits, infection control, record keeping, décor, training and appraisals.

Families and relatives spoke warmly of the care, describing staff as kind and knowledgeable, and praised improved activities and communication. A new management team was found to be visible, supportive and committed to ongoing improvement, though inspectors noted these changes needed more time to become fully embedded.
