About Ridgeway Care Centre
Ridgeway Care Centre is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 32 older people, some of whom are living with dementia. At inspection, 28 people were using the service.
People received medicines safely overall, though inspectors found that some medicines were occasionally out of stock and the provider's policy for safe medicine management was not fully followed in all instances.
Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive approach possible and acting in their best interests. The service's policies and systems supported this practice.
