Richmond Hall Care Home

Richmond Hall provides nursing and personal care to a maximum of 64 people aged 65 and over, with 39 residents at the time of inspection. The home maintained strong infection control practices, including providing PPE to visiting professionals and completing screening tools to check for Covid-19 exposure. Staff received additional training in PPE use and received daily reminders of best practice through a staff messaging group. The home supported residents to stay connected with family members through telephone and video calls, and had purchased additional computer programmes to allow relatives to view photographs of activities their family members had participated in. The provider followed national guidance when residents or staff tested positive for Covid-19.
