About Reddington House

Reddington House is a residential care home in Kent, providing personal care to people living with a learning disability. The findings below set out what the CQC observed during its most recent inspection.

Reddington House provides personal care to four people living with a learning disability who present with behaviours that could challenge themselves or others, with capacity for up to five residents. Staff assess each person's capacity to consent to regular COVID testing and respect their decisions about participation. The service demonstrates good practice in supporting people who may experience distress from staff wearing personal protective equipment, using information from individuals' positive behaviour support plans to reassure them and minimise anxiety during care interactions.
