Promenade Care Home

Promenade Care Home provides personal care to 46 older people and people living with dementia in Southport town centre, with capacity for up to 49 residents. The home offers accommodation across three floors with access to a large lounge, dining area and rear garden.

Inspectors found that people faced increased risks of harm because risk assessments were not consistently completed or detailed enough to guide staff on safe support. Some risk assessments failed to demonstrate whether health, safety and welfare concerns had been routinely assessed. Accident and incident recording processes were ineffective, with some records poorly completed and trends not reliably analysed to identify patterns and improve safety.
