Primrose House

Primrose House is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 2 people, supporting younger adults and older people with mental health needs. The service comprises two flats. At inspection, 2 people were living at the home and receiving safe care with identified risks and mitigation plans in place. Staff had been recruited safely, knew how to protect people from harm, and there were sufficient numbers to meet people's needs, with medicines managed safely.

People's needs were assessed before admission and they were involved in planning their own care and support. Staff encouraged maximum choice and control, supporting people in the least restrictive way possible. The team were well trained and skilled, receiving regular supervision and encouragement to develop their knowledge and abilities.
