Primrose Hill Nursing Home

Primrose Hill Nursing Home provides nursing care to adults with a range of needs, including mental health conditions, sensory impairments, physical disabilities and dementia, and some people had a learning disability diagnosis. Inspectors found the home required improvement overall, following concerns raised with the CQC.

Staffing levels were insufficient to manage risks safely, care plans were not always accurate or reflective of people's needs, and oversight systems failed to identify problems or ensure lessons were learned. The service breached regulations covering safe care, medicines storage, staffing and governance. However, staff knew people well, were properly recruited and trained, medicines were given as needed, and people said they felt safe and happy with their care.
