Primrose Bank Care Home

Primrose Bank Care Home supports up to 44 older people in an adapted building, with 32 people living there at the time of assessment. The CQC found the service was performing well overall, with risks properly identified, safe recruitment and medicines management in place, and good infection control. Staffing was consistent and well trained, and quality audits helped drive improvements.

Inspectors found staff treated people with exceptional kindness, dignity and respect, and residents were supported to maintain family relationships and pursue varied, personalised activities. People and relatives praised the caring atmosphere and described the home as exceptionally well run, with health needs, nutrition and complaints handled effectively.
