Conifers Care Home

Conifers Care Home provides personal care to up to 15 people aged 65 and over in one adapted building. At the time of inspection, 12 residents were living there. Medicines were stored, managed and administered as prescribed, and people were safe and protected from abuse and avoidable harm. The registered manager identified risks and documented them to support staff in ensuring people's safety.

Staff followed robust infection prevention and control procedures related to COVID-19 and other infections, and visitors were welcomed while being asked to follow safety measures. Staff were recruited safely, and staffing levels remained flexible to support people's needs. The registered manager had systems in place to learn from incidents and drive further improvements.
