The home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 13 people with learning disabilities and/or mental health support needs. At the time of inspection, ten people were using the service. When a COVID-19 outbreak occurred at the home, it was managed safely in line with government guidance. Staff received up-to-date infection prevention and control training and had access to adequate supplies of personal protective equipment, which they used and disposed of safely. Regular COVID-19 testing was carried out for both residents and staff, with records maintained throughout.

Visiting arrangements were managed carefully to minimise risks while enabling contact with families and professionals. Visitors were encouraged to pre-book visits, provided with regular updates about arrangements, and required to show evidence of negative lateral flow tests, vaccination status, and temperature checks before entering. All non-exempt staff were vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with legal requirements.
