Penhellis Nursing Home

Penhellis provides nursing care and support for up to 26 predominantly older people, with 20 residents at the time of inspection. Residents describe feeling happy and safe, with one saying "This was a place of choice for me and my family" and another praising the long-serving staff: "They take their time and are gentle, I think they do their very best, we have a nice banter." Throughout the service, people appeared relaxed and comfortable, with staff demonstrating caring attitudes and engaging residents in friendly conversation as they moved around the home. The environment is safe and regularly maintained, with appropriate equipment available to support staff in their daily work.
