Penerley Lodge Care Centre

Penerley Lodge Care Centre provides accommodation and personal care for up to 28 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia. Residents reported feeling safe, with effective risk management procedures in place for their health and wellbeing. Medicines are managed safely and infection control measures are robust. There are sufficient staff to respond promptly to people's needs, and the home has invested in improving décor and layout to support residents' comfort and sensory wellbeing.

Staff work collaboratively with external health and social care professionals to meet residents' healthcare needs. The home is enhancing the quality and choice of food and mealtime experiences. Residents receive person-centred care from well-trained staff who know them well and support them to have maximum choice and control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible. A range of activities are offered to keep people active and engaged.
