Ashleigh House

Ashleigh House provides accommodation and support for up to 10 people aged 65 and over, including those with mental health conditions. During inspection, 10 people were living at the home. Inspectors found several safety concerns, including that non-exempt visiting professionals were not all vaccinated against COVID-19, medicines were not always stored and administered safely due to unclear guidelines, and fire risks had not been fully assessed for some people. Care plans did not always reflect people's choices and preferences, and residents had not been fully consulted about some aspects of their living arrangements. The provider took immediate action to address these issues.

Despite these concerns, people expressed satisfaction with the care they received, describing staff as kind and caring. Health and social care professionals working with the service spoke positively about the home's management and its success in helping people achieve good outcomes.
