Peacehaven

Peacehaven is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to people aged 65 and over, accommodating 54 people in one adapted building. The home made the decision to pause new admissions until all residents tested negative for coronavirus, prioritizing the safety of existing residents. Staff understood their roles and responsibilities regarding infection control, and the provider met COVID-19 staff vaccination requirements. Despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, staff maintained person-centred care approaches and proactively supported residents' wellbeing through alternative social contact methods and mental health support.
