Park Lodge

Park Lodge operates both a care home accommodating up to 40 residents aged 65 and over, and a domiciliary care service supporting people in their own homes. At inspection, the care home was home to 37 residents while the domiciliary service was supporting 10 people. Residents reported feeling safe and confirmed there were sufficient staff with appropriate skills and knowledge to meet their needs. Staff received regular training and felt well-supported in their roles.

Inspectors observed that staff demonstrated kindness and caring attitudes toward residents. People's privacy and dignity were respected, and they were encouraged to maintain independence and make choices about their care. The service supported residents using the least restrictive practices possible, with policies and systems in place to uphold person-centred care and maximise choice and control over their lives.
