OSJCT Coombe End Court

OSJCT Coombe End Court is a care home providing personal care and support to older people, some living with dementia. Following an earlier requires improvement rating, the CQC found significant progress, with the service now rated Good overall. Building security, storage of chemicals and cleanliness had all improved, and staff kept clear records to help manage risks and support people's wellbeing.

People spoke positively about feeling safe, well cared for and treated with kindness, with good food and enjoyable activities on offer. Inspectors did note inconsistent implementation of learning across services and a period of increased medicines errors, though these were addressed promptly and had reduced by the time of the assessment.
