Onny Cottage

Onny Cottage is a residential care home supporting up to 7 older people with physical and/or sensory impairments in one adapted building. At inspection, 5 people were using the service. Residents felt safe with the staff who supported them, benefiting from sufficient numbers of carers who knew them well and had been trained to recognise and report abuse. The provider's improved recruitment procedures help protect people from harm. Staff are trained and competent to administer medicines when needed, and risks are assessed with care plans in place to manage them. Regular checks on the environment and equipment ensure safety is maintained, and appropriate infection prevention and control procedures are followed. People are supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives.
