Staff demonstrated good knowledge of safeguarding procedures and confidently recognised and reported abuse risks, with appropriate protective systems in place. Care risks were effectively identified and managed, and people received medicines as prescribed.

The home maintained high standards of cleanliness and infection control, with regular maintenance and building checks completed in line with current guidance. The provider's recruitment system ensured staff were safely employed. Accidents and incidents were thoroughly analysed to identify actions preventing future risks. While inspectors noted the home's strong operational practices, they identified that documentation could be improved to better support the quality assurance processes.
