Norton Grange Nursing & Residential Care Home

Norton Grange is a care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 29 people, with 28 residents at the time of inspection. The home supports older people and those with various needs including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, sensory impairments and dementia. Staff supported people in the least restrictive way possible while acting in their best interests, with policies and systems that enabled this practice. The home prioritised maximising residents' choice and independence.

People received personalised care from staff who knew them well, with their rights and dignity promoted and protected throughout. Staff understood their responsibilities to keep people safe and manage risks effectively. The home had safe recruitment practices and sufficient staffing levels to provide planned care and support.
