Northbrooke House

Northbrooke House is a residential care home providing support to older people, including those living with dementia. The assessment followed concerns about management and staff culture, but inspectors found no evidence to support these allegations. Staff, families and external professionals spoke positively about a new management team who were visible, supportive and open to feedback.

The CQC found people were treated with kindness, dignity and compassion, with staff who knew them well and supported their preferences. Risks were well managed, staffing levels were sufficient, and medicines were handled safely. Families praised the care, and the service was rated Good overall.
