Normanshire Care Services is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care to up to 6 adults with a learning disability or autism. The service operates across two floors in one building with access to a garden, and at inspection, all 6 available places were occupied. Each person has their own bedroom and access to shared facilities. The home maximises residents' choice and control through person-centred care planning and risk assessment practices that are regularly reviewed with input from relatives and advocates. Staff support people in the least restrictive way possible, with proactive plans in place for those who may become anxious or distressed.
