Norbury Court

Norbury Court, in Sheffield, is a nursing home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 60 older people. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, an improvement on its previous inadequate rating, and it is no longer in Special Measures. Inspectors found a continued breach relating to good governance, with management changes meaning some systems had not yet been embedded into consistent practice.

Feedback from people and relatives was mixed but mainly positive about recent improvements, though some raised concerns about staffing levels, frequent changes in management, and a wish for more activities. Most people said they felt safe and well cared for.
