No. 39 is a three-bedroom residential care home specialising in support for people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. At the time of inspection, the service was providing personal care to two people, with the third bedroom used for staff sleep-in cover. Staff supported people to access health and social care, including regular medicine reviews. However, medication practices needed strengthening, such as updating records promptly when medicines changed and ensuring alignment with best practice guidance for PRN protocols. These issues were addressed by the manager following inspection. The service had developed positive relationships with local healthcare providers who offered timely support. Staff considered people's emotional and sensory needs when planning appointments and used social stories to help them attend. People had choice in decorating their bedrooms and could personalise their bedroom and individual lounge areas.
