Newtown (65a), in Wiltshire, provides accommodation and personal care for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people. The CQC rated the home Good overall, an improvement on the previous requires improvement rating, and found it was no longer in breach of regulations.

Inspectors found staffing levels were reliable and risks were managed well, with people supported to take medicines safely and staff well trained. Support plans reflected individual needs, and people were helped to access their community and plan for the future, including end of life wishes. Relatives felt people were safe, well cared for, and confident that concerns raised with the management team would lead to action.
