Newlands Hall

Newlands Hall provides nursing or personal care to up to 30 people, some with dementia, across ground floor communal areas and bedrooms on the ground and first floors. At inspection, 22 people were using the service.

Improvements are needed in how the service assesses and manages risk to ensure risks are properly monitored in relation to people's health and wellbeing. Staff are not consistently recording when they have met people's care needs, including postural changes, oral care, and personal hygiene. This means the service cannot evidence that care has been provided on each occasion or maintain accurate records.
