Mortain Place Care Home

Mortain Place Care Home provides residential care for up to 80 older people, including those living with dementia. Accommodation is arranged over two floors across four named units, or communities. The ground floor supports people with general frailty and conditions such as Parkinson's disease and mobility problems, while the upper floor houses the dedicated Memory Lane Community for people living with dementia. The home had 73 residents at the time of the inspection.

Inspectors identified concerns around risk management and how certain health problems were being handled. These shortfalls meant that residents' health and well-being were not being adequately protected and promoted.
