Moor Park House is a 54-bed purpose-built home providing personal and nursing care for young adults and older people with complex needs, physical disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. The home had 52 residents at the time of inspection.

The service was not always safe. Despite previous recommendations to implement audit trails for accidents and incidents, this had not been done effectively, leaving inspectors unable to confirm that lessons had been learned to prevent similar incidents. Medicines records were also not always managed properly, with systems and processes insufficient to ensure consistent implementation of medicines policies and practices.
