Mitchell House Nursing Home

Mitchell House Nursing Home is a residential care home supporting up to 45 people across four units, with a focus on those with complex physical and mental health needs. At the time of inspection, seven people were using the service.

Staff had made progress in assessing and monitoring people's risks, though guidance was not yet consistently in place across all areas. The provider had also improved their medicine management systems, though further oversight was needed to ensure people received their medicines safely. While care plans had become more detailed, some information still required development to fully support consistent care delivery.
