Milford Lodge Care Home

Milford Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to 60 people, with 36 residents at the time of inspection. Staff engage well with residents, regularly checking on those isolating in their rooms to ensure their health needs are met. Visits continue for people at the end of life, maintaining important family connections during final stages of care.

During the pandemic, the home implemented appropriate infection control measures. Residents who tested positive for COVID-19 isolated in their rooms for 14 days, while staff wore appropriate personal protective equipment when providing care. People and staff in higher risk groups were shielded throughout the pandemic, protecting the most vulnerable members of the home and workforce.
