Merwood Rest Home

Merwood Rest Home provides personal care to 13 older people, with capacity for up to 16 residents. During inspection, the home had implemented comprehensive infection control measures including twice-weekly testing of staff and residents, hand sanitiser and personal protective equipment available throughout, and signage reminding everyone about hygiene and social distancing practices. A designated visiting area at the front of the home allowed socially-distanced visits without visitors entering the building. All authorised visitors were appropriately checked at the door to ensure safety.
