Maranello

Maranello is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care to people with a learning disability and autistic people, supporting nine people at the time of the assessment. This focused inspection followed earlier enforcement concerns around safe care, safeguarding, staffing and governance. The CQC found the provider had made the necessary improvements, with better risk management, stronger medicines oversight, more stable staffing and improved leadership, and the home is now rated Good overall.

Inspectors found people appeared relaxed and well supported by staff who knew them well, with access to meaningful activities and community life. Relatives reported improved communication and confidence in the new management team. The service has come out of Special Measures, no longer rated inadequate in any area.
