New Partnerships Lynray and Peach Cottage

New Partnerships Lynray and Peach Cottage is a residential care home providing support to autistic people and people with a learning disability, across two cottages and a separate annex. The CQC rated the service as requiring improvement, finding gaps in staff knowledge, inconsistent support and supervision, and weak governance that had not picked up on the problems identified. There had been no registered manager for some time, though a new appointment was in place.

Relatives gave mixed feedback, with some saying support had deteriorated and depended heavily on which staff were on duty. Inspectors found people's basic needs were met and staff interactions were relaxed, but recruitment and reduced use of agency staff had improved since the previous inspection.
