Maldon House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 10 adults with learning disabilities and autism, and 9 people were living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding people supported to pursue activities they enjoyed, personalise their rooms and access their community. Staff knew people well and worked with a good understanding of autism and learning disability support needs.

Inspectors found capable management with good oversight, effective audits and positive staff morale. Improvements had been made to record keeping, medicines management and behaviour support plans, with further work under way on the environment and mental capacity assessments. Relatives and staff gave largely positive feedback, and some concerns raised were discussed with management and addressed.
