Maldon House

Maldon House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 10 people with learning disabilities or autism. At inspection, the home was at full capacity with 10 residents.

Quality assurance processes did not always identify issues promptly, and when problems were found, they were not consistently addressed in a timely manner. Environmental concerns needed improvement, though staff did respond immediately when issues were flagged during the inspection. Relatives reported that while staff were responsive to concerns raised, some issues were not resolved long-term, particularly regarding cleanliness and laundry services. Documentation across the home required improvement to ensure information was effectively recorded in people's support plans.
