Magdalen House Residential Home

Magdalen House provides nursing and personal care to up to 29 older people, including those living with dementia or age-related frailty. At inspection, 26 people were using the service. People and their relatives described the service as safe, with staff responding promptly to their needs. Staffing levels were adequate to meet people's requirements, and staff reported having the skills, time and support necessary to deliver care effectively.

The home had safeguarding training in place, with staff able to recognise potential harm and understand the appropriate actions to take. Recruitment processes were robust, with thorough checks completed before staff were appointed to roles.
