About Guild House Residential Home

Guild House Residential Home is a residential care home in Gloucestershire, providing care for older people, including some living with dementia. The findings below set out what CQC found on inspection.

Guild House provides care for up to 35 older people, some of whom are living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 30 people were living at the service, with six people managing diabetes.

The home had a diabetes management policy developed in line with current national good practice guidance. Staff had access to information enabling them to recognise when people's blood sugar levels were becoming unstable, including details provided by GPs during diabetes reviews. People were supported to manage the risks associated with diabetes and to access appropriate foot care services.
